What is the TBB-M12400?

The TBB-M12400 is a high-performance 400Ah 12V Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery, designed by TBB Mobile for safe, efficient, and long-lasting energy storage. Featuring a built-in 300A BMS, low-temperature heating function, parallel expandability, and advanced control options, it’s an ideal solution for off-grid power, marine applications, and vehicle energy systems.

With its intelligent Battery Management System (BMS), the TBB-M12400 actively monitors, protects, and optimises battery performance, ensuring reliable operation and an extended service life.

  • Long Cycle Life: Provides up to 3,000 cycles at 25°C, 0.5C charge/discharge rate, vastly outlasting traditional lead-acid batteries.

  • Automatic Wake-Up Function: In shutdown mode, the battery auto-activates when an external charging voltage >14V is applied, allowing charging without discharging.
  • Optional TBB-MCK Display Panel: Enables system control and live monitoring of battery voltage, current, SOC, and system status.
  • Low Power Consumption:
    • <50mA in standby mode when powered on
    • <0.1mA ultra-low standby draw when powered off
  • Dry Contact Power-Off Function: The integrated dry contact port allows the battery to be completely powered down, minimising idle energy use and ideal for long-term storage or emergency power isolation.
  • Bluetooth Monitoring (Optional): Compatible with the TBB-DTU Bluetooth module, enabling wireless monitoring of key battery metrics such as SOC, voltage, current, and alarms through the TBB Battery mobile app (Google Play or Apple App store).
  • Wide Operating Temperature: Reliable performance from -30°C to +60°C.
  • Integrated Low-Temperature Heating: Automatically warms the battery from -20°C to +5°C (approx. 90 minutes) using external power, ensuring safe operation in cold environments.
  • Compact & Lightweight: High energy density reduces weight and saves valuable installation space compared to bulky lead-acid units.
