The Victron VE.Bus Smart Dongle is a versatile two-in-one device that combines Bluetooth connectivity for Victron inverter/chargers with voltage and temperature sensing functionality. Key functions:

1. Bluetooth monitoring & control – Acts as a wireless interface for Multi, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattro, and Phoenix VE.Bus inverters. Using the free VictronConnect app, you can:

• Monitor AC and DC parameters
• View device status, alarms, and warnings
• Adjust the AC input current limit
• Switch between On, Off, and Charger-only modes

2. Voltage & temperature sensing – Functions as a voltage and temperature sensor for all compatible inverter/chargers. This ensures safe and efficient charging, especially for lead-acid and lithium battery banks, and allows integration with VE.Smart Networking.

3. Instant Readout feature – Displays inverter/charger key data directly in the VictronConnect device list without needing to connect. Provides at-a-glance diagnostics, including warnings, alarms, and error notifications.

Additional features:

• Flexible system integration – Works with single inverter/chargers, parallel units, and 3-phase systems.
• Optional external temperature sensor – Can use either its built-in sensor or connect to an external one for precise monitoring.
